Jessica D. Lovett is an author, editor, public speaker, and avid reader, who has long been passionate about writing for both adults and children. She is also a vocalist and instrumental musician who plays the guitar, piano, and flute.  She holds a Master of Humanities degree with an emphasis in Creative Writing from Tiffin University and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Howard Payne University.  The author and her husband worked for years to build a fledgling homestead with their two children, a gigantic white dog, a Bearded Dragon, a flock of Easter Egg and miscellaneous chickens, and a chicken-herding cat. Currently, they are enjoying being city-slickers and having a smaller garden, while Jessica blogs at her new site, Homeschool With Joy.
